Framework Agreements

Trusted processes and professional guidance

Forplads KU 2

Framework agreements are built on a foundation of trust, continuity, and a collaborative culture, where we as architects contribute to both individual projects and the overall whole.

  • In complex construction projects, it is crucial to have a trusted advisor — someone you know and rely on. We take pride in being that advisor: ensuring high quality and on-time delivery. As a strategic partner, we are part of the client’s decision-making process, creating solutions that consider both the overall portfolio and specific project needs.

    A tradition of long-term partnerships

Throughout its history, Dissing+Weitling has built long-lasting, trust-based collaborations with both public and private clients. As the direct successor to Arne Jacobsen’s architectural practice, we have carried out numerous extensions and renovations of his buildings — an experience that has shaped our strong approach to restoring and adapting architectural heritage over the past 50 years.

Our consultancy is holistic and encompasses economy, operations, sustainability, user involvement, and strategic goals. We take responsibility for process management and coordination in projects that often include a wide range of tasks within a single framework agreement — always with a focus on quality, progress, and fruitful collaboration with authorities and interdisciplinary partners.

    Public and private partnerships

For example, we have carried out the extension and renovation of Glostrup City Hall and have, since 2009, repeatedly won framework agreements for technical consultancy with the University of Copenhagen — now for four consecutive terms. In addition, we serve as ‘house architect’ for several key institutions, including Danmarks Nationalbank (the central bank of Denmark), the Danish Parliament, the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, and a confidential client in the pharmaceutical industry. In 2004, we won the competition for Trafikverket – Strategic Architectural Services, which means we will be delivering consultancy services to Sweden’s national transport administration for the next four years.
