  • The design of the individual laboratories are as open and flexible as possible, with the other necessary facilities incorporated: meeting rooms, cold rooms, locks and more. Building 211 consists of a series of interconnected specialist laboratories.

  • The Architecture

The architecture underline the characteristics of the former barrack complex. We have chosen distinctive materials such as yellow bricks to create a harmony with the existing architecture.

The building complete the park space between two existing buildings from the 1880s, with a large pergola-like façade with tall brick pillars. The laboratory building is connected to the existing buildings with a light glass link. The historic building facades are thus unbroken and make a transition between the old and new buildings.
