The city hall is a physical reshuffling which supports the municipality’s new organising of several administrative departments. It is placed in the former courtyard of the existing town hall and surrounded by different building sections from three decades.
The new building includes, amongst other facilities, the citizens service centre. This function is placed like an island on the black granite floor, and is clearly readable through the use of different ’furnishings’ in the open space.
The lower situated edge zone is paved with loose pebbles while the fittings in the entrance hall are made of Oregon pine, glass, leather and black furniture board.
