In Hamburg, the Arne Jacobsen Haus is now taking shape: the newly developed facade is being installed at the former HEW headquarters, originally designed by Arne Jacobsen.

  • A deteriorating facade is being replaced, while new spaces — including the Sitzungssaal for Bezirksversammlung Hamburg-Nord and a rooftop terrace — are carefully integrated.

Developed for this listed building, the facade reinterprets Arne Jacobsen’s original design — carefully balancing preservation with today’s standards for energy and comfort. Its innovation lies in the precision: proportions, materials and detailing are calibrated to retain the building’s identity while upgrading its performance.
