Dissing+Weitling releases its first ESG Report 2023, highlighting how data and strategy drive sustainability efforts – from architectural services to daily operations.
The ESG report is a natural outcome of Dissing+Weitling's certification in the international environmental management standard ISO 14001, which has provided a solid system for measuring and reducing their environmental impact:
– I am very proud that we are now launching our first sustainability report! Not only because it has sharpened our focus on measuring and describing our own behavior regarding the environment and climate, but also because I am confident that the report will inspire other SMEs in the industry.
– It is, as we know, not yet mandatory for companies of our size to publish an ESG report, but it strengthens everyone in the construction industry to do so and prepares us for the upcoming EU requirements on reporting our own 'footprints,' says CEO Tine Holmboe.
The ESG report also includes three case studies from Dissing+Weitling's work in Building, Cultural Heritage & Transformation, as well as Mobility.
You can also read excerpts from interviews with Dissing+Weitling's specialists.
Finally, the report describes a high level of employee engagement in the sustainability process this year, an increased awareness of our own behavior, and a strong willingness to match the ambitions of clients and other partners.
