Preliminary analyses and fundraising
From idea to funded project
Strategic pre-design analyses provide a solid basis for making the right decisions. We help public and private clients develop early ideas into strong visual concepts, and raise the funds needed to bring them to life.
A good idea alone is rarely enough to move a project forward. Clients, politicians, foundations and other decision-makers need to clearly understand what the project can achieve, what it requires and the value it will create. Our preliminary analyses help develop the idea, make its potential visible and build a strong foundation for support, decision-making and funding.
Early in the process, we explore the project’s opportunities and constraints – from existing buildings, landscape and context to functions, flows and connections.
Our pre-design analyses include:
● Potential, landscape and context analyses
● Alignment and layout studies
● Scenarios, concepts and visualisations
● Fundraising and project funding analyses
Working closely with engineers and other specialists, we assess construction, economics, sustainability, operations and financing. Our landscape architects identify the site’s distinctive natural qualities and potential, translating them into functional and attractive outdoor spaces and connections.
Our visualisation specialists turn ideas and sketches into compelling images that make the project’s potential tangible and convincing. Our fundraiser supports the process from identifying relevant foundations and funding opportunities to preparing the final application.
Mobility projects such as the Bicycle Snake, Solrød Strand Bathing Pier, the Bridge across the Limfjord, the Third Limfjord Crossing and Norway’s Alstenfjorden demonstrate how strategic feasibility studies can develop into projects of significant local value.
The same applies to studies for building and transformation projects such as 21Ø and the transformation of Lederne’s headquarters.
Regardless of scale, the goal is the same: to create a strong foundation for decision-making, securing funding and delivering projects with lasting value.
