  • With its distinctive steel structure, the bridge serves not only as a transport link but also as an architectural landmark. Its bold structural design defines the intersection at Gehaplatz and Sutelstraße, giving the extensive transport infrastructure a clear architectural identity.

  • The bridge’s steel structure consists of arches, Vierendeel girders, and a braced steel bridge deck. The light rail tracks and station are positioned centrally on the bridge, with road traffic running on either side. The station’s platforms and waiting areas are integrated into the structure and sheltered by a lightweight steel canopy with partially glazed roofs.
