The Süderelbe Bridge has been earmarked to become part of a new connecting route between two highways, integrating the harbour into the European road network.
Together with engineers Schlaich Bergermann und Partner, Stuttgart, and WTM, Hamburg, Dissing+Weitling won first prize in an open competition for the new motorway bridge over the southern branch of the river Elbe in the busy port of Hamburg.
