  • The Osman Gazi Bridge reduces travel times between Istanbul and the western provinces of Turkey dramatically; the 421-kilometre highway cuts the journey time between Izmir and Istanbul from 10 hours to about four hours. At the same time, the combination of a new bridge and motorway means that the driving time between the country's busy Sabiha Airport and the eastern Bursa province is now less than an hour. The total length of the bridge is 2.7 kilometres.

  • Strong and elegant design

The Osman Gazi Bridge is the fourth longest suspension bridge in the world, with a 1,500-metre main span. It is a striking feature within the local landscape and seascape. The bridge girder, with its aerodynamically refined deck edge, give the impression of an elegant ribbon of motorway suspended above the water, before transitioning over the transition piers and approach spans to the shore.

When crossing the bridge, there are beautiful views of the towers and the view toward the surrounding hills and landscape is possible due to the transparent structure.

The Turkish signature bridge is named after Osman Gazi, the founder of the Ottoman Empire.
