In the new district of Risskov Brynet, social housing is under construction for people with disabilities, young people and families. The homes are targeted for Gold certification within the DGNB scheme.
DGNB Gold
The mixed housing in the new district of Risskov Brynet has been optimised in terms of materials, construction, green technology and the use of sunlight. Dissing+Weitling's DGNB Auditor is helping ensure that the building project can achieve a Gold certification within the sustainability scheme.
The housing is the result of a competition organised by the City of Aarhus with the aim of getting good, innovative ideas for high-quality and varied social housing.
Dissing+Weitling is experienced in pushing the barriers to what is possible in public building, and is a sub-consultant to SKALA Architects in the project, which also involves the engineering firms Sweco and Spangenberg & Madsen, landscape architects from Green Sustainable Landscape and accessibility expert, Rie Ollendorff.
